Why Use PCBs?

PCB Manufacturing

Next, the board is coated with a layer of photoresist, which is then exposed to light through the film. The exposed areas of the photoresist harden, while the unexposed areas remain soft.
The board is then submerged in a chemical solution that removes the unexposed photoresist, leaving behind the desired copper traces. The remaining photoresist is removed, and the board is inspected for defects.
